Scart-naar-scart videokabel ShiverPeaks 96020 – scartstekker naar scartstekker, analoog

ShiverPeaks 96020 Scart to Scart video cable is an analog AV connection cable with a Scart plug at each end, designed to link legacy audio-video equipment such as DVD players, VCRs, set-top boxes and older televisions. The cable supports composite video and stereo analog audio transmission through the standard Scart interface, providing a straightforward solution for connecting devices that rely on the Scart connector.

Advantages

This 3.0 m Scart cable offers single-shielded construction with six 75 Ω coaxial conductors to maintain signal integrity for composite video and stereo audio over a moderate distance. Using matching Scart plugs at both ends simplifies connections between devices without the need for adapters, and the cable’s design suits typical home entertainment setups and equipment integration scenarios.

Suitable for

• Connecting DVD players to older TVs
• Linking VCRs or camcorders to display devices
• Integrating set-top boxes with legacy audio systems
• Temporary or permanent home AV setups using Scart

Key specifications

• Connector type: Scart plug to Scart plug
• Length: 3.0 m
• Cable construction: single-shielded
• Conductors: 6 × 75 Ω coaxial
• Signal types: composite video and analog stereo audio

How to use

Plug one Scart connector firmly into the Scart socket of the source device (for example a DVD player or set-top box) and the other Scart connector into the Scart socket of the display device (for example an older TV). Ensure both devices are powered off before connecting to avoid potential electrical noise. After connections are secure, power on the devices and select the appropriate input on the TV or monitor to view the signal from the source.

Recommendations

For best results, route the cable away from strong electromagnetic interference sources such as power transformers or wireless routers; avoid sharp bends and stretching. If image or audio quality appears degraded over long runs, check connectors for secure seating and try a shorter cable or alternative inputs if available.
